WELCOME!

Each section of this web site is dedicated to giving you a a truly unique view of the private world of a working writer. The reader who enters this site will discover their imagination challenged in many different ways. It takes a certain kind of approach to appreciate this sort of material, a fascination with the possibilities, with the potential, that the work might have had.

Looking back on all the effort and research that has gone into this project, we are reminded that it really started many, many years ago, long before Louis passed away.

Not for the obvious reason that all of the materials here were created by Louis, but because in real life as well as in his stories, Louis always left you wanting more. Everyone who knew or had met Louis wanted to know more about him. What was he working on? Where was he going? Where had he been? What was he thinking?

If your explorations and experiences with this web site leave you with the feeling that you have just scratched the surface; and if as you read through each article, the link to the next page catches your eye and you just can't resist clicking on it, then we will have not only done our job but maybe, just maybe, we have given you a taste of what it might have been like to sit down and chat with Louis.

Oh, we would never claim that it is as good as the real thing, but for now it is the best that we can do and as such we are proud to present it to you! We hope you like it!
